Custom Financial Tools
The calculators were a high-priority request from the business owner—previously available on their old site and frequently used by both the team and clients. Since the original code wasn’t owned by the firm, we rebuilt the tools from scratch to better match the new site and ensure accurate, reliable performance:
- Amortization Calculator – Helps users visualize loan repayment schedules, including monthly payments and interest over time. Great for clients exploring mortgages or business loans.
- Break-even Analysis Calculator – Designed for small business owners to quickly determine when their revenue will cover fixed and variable costs—ideal during tax planning or business consulting.
- Social Security Calculator – Estimates projected Social Security benefits based on user input, helping individuals plan retirement strategies more effectively.
Each calculator was built in vanilla JavaScript, with logic handled server-side to ensure speed, accuracy, and security. The design was styled to match the site, and usability was prioritized for both desktop and mobile users. These tools became a major part of the site’s value—offering real utility and reducing repetitive inquiries for the firm.
